Story Bird
Story Bird is a Web 2.o that I use for writing. It encourages and gives ideas to my most reluctant writers. It is the reversal process of writing; students find pictures and then create a story based on the art. It is also has a feature that students can comment on other students stories. I have a couple students that have written over 45 books this year!

I LOVE Story Bird; it is so cool to see how different minds come up with so many ideas. I can not wait to share these books with my little readers. I know this one is embedded, but are the other stories public?
ReplyDeleteThis is a really neat tool! I will have to pass this along to my wife the elementary teacher. But I could see how this might even be used in a high school english class.
ReplyDeleteI love to use Story Bird myself it is very nice to use for class, students can be so creative with this.
ReplyDeleteStorybird is such an excellent tool! I used it last year with on of my students and she loved it. I love how this tool makes writing so interactive and fun for students.
